Occultation: The passage of one celestial body in front of another, thus obscuring the other from view, in this particular case, it is where the moon temporarily blocks the sun, otherwise known as a solar eclipse.
Extra piece of trivia, a lunar eclipse is where the moon is blocked by the earth's shadow.
